Apple’s New MacBook Pro with Retina Display are Available for Shipping

On Monday, Apple has announced the leanest and lightest MacBook Pro ever. It has the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processor, 15.4-inch Retina display with resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, and a case that is only 0.71 inch thick and weighs up 4.46 pounds. This high definition display has improved contrast ratios, reduced glare and reflection, and better screening angles. The company said that this display was the best quality one that they had ever used in their laptops so far.

The specks include a Core i7 processor of 2.7GHz, 16GB RAM, 768GB storage, a graphics card of NVIDIA Kepler GT 650M, and a battery with 7 hours life and 1 month standby. It also has ports of USB 3.0, 2 Thunderbolt ports, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and a high definition camera.

Its price range varies according to the processor, Ram, and storage. Te laptops are available for shipping with a starting price of $2,199 for a laptop with 2.3GHz processor, 8GB RAM, and storage of 256GB.

Apple’s senior vice president Phil Schiller said it to the very best laptop they had ever built.
