Just recently, Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard split up after being together for almost 30 year. Finally, they decided to move on with their own separate lives. However, it has been officially announced that Jessica Lange and her husband Sam Shephard have gone their separate ways.

Jessica Lange is an American veteran actress who has received tons of awards for her talent and capability. Now in her 60’s, she is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, specifically dealing with the HIV and AIDS prevalence in Russia and Congo. Sam Shepard, on the other hand, is an American actor but also widely notable for his writings. Shepard met Lange during the set of Frances (1982) and have stayed together since 1983. Although they never got married and still are not until now, they have two kids named Hannah Jane (now 26 years old) and Samuel Walker Shepard (now 24 years old). Just days ago, the publicity representative of Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard announced to the public that they have split. What the people did not know, however, was that Shepard and Lange actually separated already in 2010 but did it in a private way. To not cause any media hype, interviews, or even people twisting stories or rumors, their separation was done secretly. At the same time, they found it best not to tell it to anyone as they wanted it to just be kept between themselves. Thus, both Lange and Shepard have actually been single already for more than a year. Although not much is known about the cause of their breakup, it is still disheartening to see an old-time couple (Hollywood or not), part their ways.
Today, Jessica Lange is set to appear with Rachel McAdams in The Vow and has also just been nominated for an Academy Award. Sam Shepard will be starring with Dianne Keaton and Kevin Kline in Darling Companion that is also set to come out next year.
