Kristen Stewart: Hollywood’s Most Bankable Star
Suppose you are a movie producer who wants his investments on a film to grow exponentially, or at least by some folds, which stars do you hire? Answer: The “Twilight” pair of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, of course.
Forbes on Tuesday posted on their site a list of Hollywood stars that have raked the most money for their studios based on how much they are paid versus how much the film they have starred for earned on the box-office. And numbers one and three on the list are Stewart and Pattinson respectively. This was not a surprise for many as the latest Twilight movie “The Breaking Dawn: Part 1″ has overpowered its rivals with $589 million movie sales worldwide.
Kristen Stewart ranked first on Forbes‘ “Hollywood’s Best Actors for the Buck” list because every $1 paid for her salary earns movie producers a whooping $55.83. Pattinson was third with every $1 for him converts to of $39.43. The two conquered the top of the list because of their pairings in the “Twilight” series, that when removed changes the whole story. Movie producers who took the two, on thee other hand, have had good deals for the two which could only be called a “bargain” given how much their movies earned.
Aside from the Twilight movies, Forbes also considered films that starred the two on a time frame of three years (not counting the latest Breaking Dawn) as a basis for their list. The same rules were given to other actors. Stewart also starred on “The Runaways” while Pattinson casted “Water for Elephants” and “Remember Me.”
In between the two, Anne Hathaway was ranked second with every $1 paid gaining $45.67. She played the lead roles some movies including “Alice in Wonderland” and “Bride Wars.” Daniel Radcliffe of the “Harry Potter” series was on No.4 and “Transformers” lead actor Shia LaBeouf settled for No. 5.
