Miss International 2011 Winners and Results

Check out the Miss International 2011 Winners and Results below. The coronation night of the 51st edition of the Miss International beauty pageant was successfully held Sunday evening, November 6, 2011, at the Sichuan Opera Theatre, in Chengdu, China. The contest was being live at CDTV website.


Miss International 2011 Winners and Results : Out of this year’s 67 candidates, María Fernanda Cornejo of Ecuador won the most coveted crown. She was crowned by Elizabeth Mosquera of Venezuela at the final event. Miss Venezuela, Jessica Barboza was named 1st-runner up while Miss Mongolia, Tugsuu Idersaikhan, Miss Puerto Rico Desiree Del Rio, Miss Panama Keity Mendieta were hailed 2nd-, 3rd- and 4th-runner-up, respectively.

Miss International 2011 Winner María Fernanda Cornejo, 22, and stands 1.78 m, lives and works in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She is one of the most requested models in her country. She is taking a bachelor’s degree in nutrition at UEES and speaks Spanish and English. She enjoys singing, going to the beach, playing basketball and doing pilates.

Meanwhile about this year’s Miss International, is to raise funds to send from Chengdu to Japan to support the victims of the great earthquake that struck Japan. There are numerous parties, support activities, grand parades and other events are being planned to raise funds.
