My Three Favorite Christmas Movies
This month expect that there will be a lot of family reunions, parties and events that will take place. But it is also the time when you can have a time for yourself, to relax and have a break. One of my favorite past time when I have the time to unwind is watching movies. So I want to share few of my favorite movies that you and your family may find entertaining this Christmas.
To start off with my favorite Christmas movies is “Home Alone”. A Christmas comedy film starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McAllister, the mischievous boy that was accidentally left alone at home by his parents to spend the holidays at Paris. Then there are two burglars that will eventually be the victims in this movie, as they will suffer in every booby trap that Kevin makes. For any family who wants a hearty laugh this Christmas? I recommend you to watch the film together with your children so that they may also learn lessons, not by making booby traps but to respect and love their parents.
Next is the movie “Gremlins”. Now, you may wonder why this 1980’s horror movie made at my list. Well I really like the good fury Mogwai, Gizmo, and the plot of the story where every time a Gremlin gets wet, it multiplies. And the truth is, whenever I watched the film it does not give me chills, but it makes me laugh a little especially, the part where the gremlins invade a bar and had a blast, partying, drinking, and dancing, even singing. But what I really got in watching this movie is, always read and understand what is written on a package before opening it. Simple message but useful. Watch the film to know what I am saying.
The third movie in the list is “The Holiday”. If you are into romantic comedy movies and you want to watch one this Christmas, then this movie is for you. Star studded cast, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black, made the movie. This is about finding one’s self in an unexpected place. Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet trade their homes to nurse a broken relationship, and to explore and find what is missing in their life during the holidays. During these times, they found the happiness that they are looking for in the persons of Jude Law and Jack Black.
These are only 3 of my favorite Christmas movies but my list still goes on. May these movies complete your Christmas and may you share them also with your family and friends.
