The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 4 Episode 6 Recap
Housewives. We’re seeing them everywhere. Well, besides of course in our homes, we have been watching them on our screens. We know the intriguing and intense family and personal lives of the suburban wives of Wisteria Lane in the hit TV show Desperate Housewives. We have seen the transformation of Nicole Kidman from a Plain Jane woman to an ultra-Barbie wife in the movie The Stepford Wives. We have also seen a lot of other shows and movies that deal with the lives of women who are called to be a mother, wife, friend, and citizen all at the same time. When experienced all simultaneously, some women can get fed up and downright exhausted that they end up talking it about and sharing their sentiments with literally everyone.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is a reality television show that focuses on the lives of women in the metropolitan area of Atlanta City. Its current housewives are NeNe Leakes (news correspondent), Kim Zolciak (designer and singer) Sheree Whitfield (fashion designer), Cynthia Bailey (supermodel), Phaedra Parks (lawyer), and Kandi Burruss (record producer). Airing for a good four years now, The Real Housewives of Atlanta talks about the different aspects of their lives (i.e. business, social, family) and how they manage to juggle everything. Ratings show that this is actually the biggest and most successful reality show about housewives that ever aired. Other “Real Housewives Of” shows that are also as successful are: The Real Housewives of New York; New Jersey; Miami; Orange County and Beverly Hills. Interestingly enough, “The Real Housewives” franchise is also recognized worldwide in Greece (The Real Housewives of Athens) and Canada (The Real Housewives of Vancouver).
Just days ago, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 4 Episode 6 was aired and many are considering it to be the most drama-free episode of their fourth season. A lot of people are attributing this no-fuss no-drama episode to the housewives not being able to interact mainly or as a group in the show. In fact, in this episode, their separate lives are focused on. For example, Kim Zolciak and partner Kroy Biermann just had their baby; Kandi Burruss had a photoshoot session with her mother; Sheree Whitfield was served by ex-hubby and being asked to lower his monthly income to support their child; Phaedra Parks was dealing with a client by herself and not much was seen on screen. It was only NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey who got to do some talking as they both went to New York but also had own things happening for them as well. As much as the viewers on screen were slightly disappointed and a bit bored (as compared to episodes where all the cat fight and interactions were much more prevalent), it was also a good thing to see them deal with their lives separate from their own little world as the housewives of Atlanta. The most recent aired seventh episode eventually brought back more of the drama and feisty interactions they would normally have on a regular day in Atlanta.
