FBI: Team Stormed Bunker When Child in Danger by associatedpress

The FBI team discovered two bombs inside the Bunker from where they rescued a kidnapped little boy. The agency said that they discovered the bombs on Tuesday.

Steve Richardson, Special Agent in Charge, said in a written statement that the FBI disrupted both the bombs. One was found inside the bunker and another one was inside a PVC pipe. The kidnapper Jimmy Lee Dykes used that pipe sometimes for contacting with the authorities.

After negotiations with the kidnapper went to nowhere, the FBI sent a rescue team. Apart from having bombs in the bunker, Dykes even shot at the agents during the rescue operation. Richardson said that they would continue their search on Wednesday too for other bombs.

Dykes kidnapped the 5-year-old boy Ethan on January 29 from his school bus. The boy was held hostage for almost a week before the rescue team saved him on Monday.

The child was brought to her mother and the both reunited at a hospital.
